I Peter 4:10-11
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

A List of Current Ministry Teams
Please keep in mind that this list is "obsolete" almost as soon as it is posted, as the list of ministry teams is constantly changing. However, this list is to help you see what Bethel offers, or where a ministry opportunity might present itself according to your God-given gifts and talents. ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
We will provide biblically based classes for adults both in the church and in the secular community on a variety of spiritually significant topics for the purpose of leading to and strengthening individual relationships with Jesus Christ.
AWANA
We want to reach children 3 years old through 5th grade for Christ and teach them to grow up in Him.
BAPTISM & COMMUNION
This Ministry Team will assist in the preparation and distribution of the elements for communion and assist candidates before and after baptism.
BENEVOLENT MINISTRY
Our overall mission is to display the compassion of Christ and serve Him by giving care to God's people.
BEREAVEMENT
We seek to come alongside our families that have experienced the loss of a loved one by providing a meal on the day of the funeral.
BETHEL OUTREACH BASKETBALL
Our goal is to glorify God by helping reach the community with the gospel of Christ by providing opportunities to play basketball.
CAMP
We do camp ministry to provide junior and junior high aged young people a camping experience based on the Word of God that is going to expose them to the gospel of Jesus Christ in a way that will make them excited about trusting Jesus as their savior and becoming His lifelong disciples.
CARD MINISTRY
We will extend recognition and support to our Bethel family during times of celebration, challenge and sorrow.
CARING CHRISTIAN SINGLES
We want to bring singles together to grow in Christ nad fellowship around Him.
CHILDREN'S SUNDAY SCHOOL
We exist as a team to provide biblical instruction for all ages to help develop Christ-like character through the teaching of God's word.
CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP
We help create an atmosphere of worship to God for those attending our worship services.
EDGE
We want to build a community of students and see them be used by God.
FACILITIES ENHANCEMENT
We exist as a team to keep our building and grounds in tiptop shape to the glory of God.
FAMILY TIME
This ministry strives to assist families in equipping each generation to teach Christian principles and values in the home.
GOD'S KIDS CHILDREN'S CHOIR
We want to promote the development of fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ by leading children in the ministry of the Lord's music.
GREETERS
We exist as a team to cause every person who enters our building on Sunday morning to feel like they have come to a happy family reunion.
GUY STUFF
We will sponsor recreational activities that appeal to men, in order to promote friendship and provide opportunities to share Christ.
HILLTOPPERS
We exist as a team to provide Christian fellowship for people 50+ years of ages in an atmosphere that continues to develop their Christian growth and outreach.
IMPACT
We want to build a community of Junior High students and see them be used by God.
KITCHEN MINISTRIES
We seek to provide refreshments and create social togetherness for the people of Bethel Baptist Church.
LIBRARY
We want to provide a place of Christian resources for Bethel members and attendees.
MEDIA & TECHNICAL SUPPORT
This team wants to help the church worship and grow by providing audio and visual media support in our worship services and other events as needed.
MEMBERSHIP CARE
Our vision is that every non-attending member of Bethel will be encouraged and restored to the fellowship of the church.
MOM2MOM
The women of this team have been strengthened and encouraged by each other and by our faith in Christ, and it is our belief that no mom should stand alone. Therefore, we desire to encourage and equip women in their roles as mothers.
NURSERY
We desire to create a secure and loving environment so that parents are free to participate in and focus on worship and discipleship training.
PRAYER TEAM
Our vision is to encourage the congregation to develop a prayer life worthy of and pleasing to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
PRIMETIMERS
We exist to meet the social and spiritual needs of mature adults in this church family and to have a ball doing it.
RECOVERY GROUPS
We wish to express Christ's love to hurting people and help them find His healing.
RESONATE
We want to provide opportunities to grow in our spiritual walks individually and as a group, while reaching out to young adults in the community to introduce God's Word.
SMALL GROUPS
We want to create a system that provides opportunities to experience a small group and encourages people to actively participate.
SHORT-TERM MISSIONS AND CHURCH PLANTING
We want to promote participation and help with the financial support of individuals or teams called to serve Christ according to the Great Commission.
STEWARDSHIP
We exist as a team to be competent stewards of each penny that is given for God's work by people who have sacrificed their personal desires believing that Bethel can use it in meeting a need in God's kingdom.
TRADITIONAL WORSHIP
We help lead those attending our worship services to worship God in spirit and truth.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
We want to reach the children and their families for Christ and unite believers for fellowship.
VANS & TRANSPORTATION
We will provide transportation for people to attend worship services.
WOMEN'S MINISTRY
We desire that women of all ages grow closer to God, develop meaningful relationships with other women in our church family, and be able to give the reason for the hope they have in Christ.
WOODWORKERS
We exist as a team to glorify God by helping reach and teach people with the Gospel of Christ who love using both their hands and tools to work with wood.
