Awana

Weekly Meetings

Awana is taking a break for the summer. 2012 Awana Kick-Off will be on Wednesday September 5th with the regular Awana meetings starting on Wednesday, September 14 from 6:25-8:05pm every week during the school year. A calendar of events will be posted later.

We have groups for ages 3 through 5th grade.

Cubbies is for 3 & 4 year old children (must be 3 before September 1, 2011). They meet in the Preschool area. Parents please check in and pick up your child in room A-11. We require all parents of Cubbies to be in the church building during Cubbies.

Sparks is for children in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades. Parents please check them in the Foyer (Fremont St. entrance) and pick them up in the Family Life Center.

Truth & Training (T&T) is for children in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. Parents please check them in the Foyer (Fremont St. entrance) and pick them up in the Family Life Center.

Vision

We want to reach children 3 years old to 5th Grade for Christ and teach them to grow up in Him.

Ministry Description

Awana helps the children to Worship Christ through prayer and singing. We Share Christ by helping the children Grow in Christ by applying Bible verses, listening to Bible stories and Missionary stories, and gospel messages.

Through games and activities, there is an opportunity to Felowship around Christ. The children are encouraged to follow Him in Serving Christ daily.
