Adult Ministries

Iron sharpens iron, and one person sharpens another.

Proverbs 27:17

Our Bethel family wants to minister to you and help you grow in your relationship with Jesus and your relationships with others as you engage in our community for Christ.

Weekend growth opportunities are available through Bible study classes offered on Sunday mornings at 8:45 AM. Small groups are available throughout the week to help you develop relationships with others who also desire to love and serve the Lord.

Sunday School Classes

We offer a wide variety of classes on Sunday Morning starting at 8:45 am and ending at 9:45 am. This is a great way to dive deep and grow in your relationship with God and others.

Voyagers

Voyagers is a group for "55-plus" adults who gather on a monthly basis for fellowship and fun. Members of the group also offer caring, hands-on assistance to those who are in need.

College & Young Adults

Our Bethel Young Adult Group meets on Monday evenings from 6:30pm-10pm at the parsonage right next to the church (1160 North Academy St, Galesburg, IL).

Our nights begin with fellowship, food, and games. We then transition to a time of Bible study before splitting off into groups for a time of sharing prayer requests and encouragement. We also meet up during the week to play ultimate frisbee, movie nights, and pickleball. We would love to see you there!

Foster Care Hope Group

This group meets monthly to care for and support families at Bethel who have a heart for foster care. If you're interested in getting involved in any way, please contact us through the link below.

Small Groups

Get Connected. Go Deeper.

Engage in meaningful relationships by doing life together. Be a part of each other's lives, fellowship, and be on mission together. It is in the context of these groups that genuine community and growth begins to happen. Small groups meet in various homes throughout the week for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship.
