We do not believe that singing praise to God in a church service is, in and of itself, worship. However, we do believe that worshiping God through singing is a command to all and is a powerful way to respond to our King (Psalm 66:1-2 - Shout for joy to God, all the earth; sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise!).
The message that our music and songs communicate is of utmost importance to us. Whether our music is sometimes loud or soft, fast or slow, new or old, with a full band or a smaller group, matters little in comparison to the message of the song and the condition of our hearts. It is important to us that the songs we sing accurately reflect God’s Word, so that we can express our thankfulness for the gospel through Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to the glory of God the Father.
